Course Description

This course provides the participant with a basic understanding of suspected abuse and neglect towards children.  US Federal definitions are used as a guide to discuss signs and symptoms that may indicate that abuse and neglect has occurred or is ongoing. Additionally, methods are discussed to help the reader understand how to help prevent child abuse and/or neglect.
