Course Description

This course provides the learner with a foundational understanding of cardio-pulmonary physiology, and the pathophysiology of respiratory failure to prepare for the RPSGT and CCSH exams.  The learner will be provided a basic overview of the types of respiratory failure, diseases and conditions that contribute to respiratory failure as well as the co-morbidity of heart failure when assessing the patient for sleep disordered breathing.
