Course Description

This course is a refresher for all healthcare professionals – and, in particular for those clinicians working in an environment where Infectious Pneumonia has a greater degree of impact upon those working in that environment.  Those respiratory therapists working in an institution, be it Intensive Care, Med/Surg, Pulmonary Function Lab, etc. will likely be involved with those infected.  Those sleep technologists and respiratory therapists working in an alternate site, such as a physician’s office or a sleep testing facility will be exposed to those with infection or those with conditions that predispose them to the microorganisms that cause Infectious Pneumonia.
