Course Description

This course reviews the potential for sleep disorders in women during pregnancy caused by either pregnancy or an untreated sleep disorder prior to becoming pregnant.  A brief description of sleep related breathing disorders is presented, followed by a focus on the risk, morbidity and mortality for pregnant women.  Current treatment interventions will identify strategies to protect the mother and child.
